The Database Editor Disk Arrives
This is a very momentous day! The database editor arrived from Walsworth with all our mug names. The process goes like this: All the undergrad mugs and faculty are shot by Lifetouch. At some point all the retake shoots are done and eventually Lifetouch sends a disk with all the photos and names that we send off to the publisher. In less than a week it comes back to us as the Database Editor and from it we can edit the names and then create a text file to flow in the names for each class.
Class time
The staff had to turn in two moments today and they all worked a little better. I started class with the "we have to start getting things done speech;" we are trying to send pages next week. I actually read some of the moments and they are coming along.
After her waterpolo game against Loretto which they lost 6-2, Zoe came back to the room and we figured our how to use the database editor and we even got all the junior names flowed.
Now at day 47 all the pieces are in place where we can actually finish the mugs.
Oh I forgot tomorrow at 8:15 we have an online training with the Walsworth people and hopefully we learn moreabout making the textures we want. I suppose then we will really have ALL the pieces in place.
We shall she how it all goes.
If they really bust it we can still send pages in OCTOBER. Stay tuned
By the way Katie. Where in the heck is the Football spead in the 2008 Odyssey? Football should at least me mentioned in the index doncha think? :) I L-O-V--E complete indexes.
