It never quite goes as smoothly as I think it should. Like figuring out the number of staff at 3:30 while Reese is sitting there. But that's just the way it goes. It was a crazy week with Mock Trial and Kelsey's birthday and Ellen's appointments, but we got er done.
The cover, endsheets, title page, theme, two dividers. 12 club reference, 4 academics, 10 ads. Total 33. That puts us at 161 which is well over half way and with in striking distance of 200!

Even though tomorrow is Saturday we will not be going in as the power will be off between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. both days with something to do with the new gym.

Continued working on the deadline. Trying to get cover and endsheet plus five TP, opening, student life divider, six academics, 12 club reference, ten ads for a total of 33 which would put us at 151.

Tonight was also the night of the Mock Trial competition at the Sacramento County courthouse. Zoe did the opening and closing in the trial.

Today the editors (Zoe, Lauren, Shelby) worked hard on the theme and divider copy along with the cover, endsheets, title page. They actually moved Zoe's computer out into Rome 17. They are close and got a bunch accomplished.
Ellen was there then left to work at birthday party at Granite Arch. Kelsey came at abou 3:30 after working at SB all day.

Inauguration Day. Yes, Pecan! Barack Obama the 44th President. Hard to believe I have lived during the time of 11 presidents.

We watched the swearing in during first period and the speech ended right as first period ended.

In yearbook started the new term.
Four new people came into class. Jesse Hutchinson, Dustin Burhans and Kat Poonka, Sara Amaya.

All four are juniors we will see what happens.

Zoe and Lauren showed me their cover idea and it looks pretty amazing. It is based on the Radiohead In Rainbows artwork.

Yearbook final was today at 7:50 as we are on the 2,3 4,1 schedule.

No class as the finals were 2, 3 today. People came in after class.

Working on academics and what we plan to send next. Basically we now have to do 10 spreads per week for the next four weeks.

Next goal is to get over half way. After that over 200.

Everyone was very productive.

We got the 70 pages of proof pretty close to ready to send with Reese on Tuesday.

Academics and clubs seem to be in process.

We are trying to get back in the groove. We have a million proofs to complete as well as try to make the next deadline. As usual we have to try and get academics and clubs done in January, but oops we forgot to be taking photos all along.
