Today we were working together like a REAL yearbook staff. The machine was well-oiled and chugging along.
Our mission was to finish as much of spring sports as possible. We have approximately 70 pages to go and our goal is to send another 30 pages on Monday when Reese comes.
Along with the editors Zoe, Lauren, Kelsey, Shelby, Ellen, and Kim a huge bunch of staffers were actually in and working.
Delaney, Dustin, Madeline, Steven, Kailey, Jessie, Sarah N., Stacy, Phil, Allie, Josh, Hannah (12)
Girls' Soccer was actually finished yesterday as were the Varsity Baseball stories. Good work Stacy and Maddie. Swim and Dive finished next along with Boys' Tennis. Boys' Golf finished both stories on Saturday. The current trouble areas are JV Baseball, JV Softball secondary, and both Varsity Softball stories.
Allie Bell stayed and actually finished the Track and Field story. (Good job)
However some never showed up and others cut out too early.
It reminds me of the age-old yearbook maxim. Yearbook Doesn't Build Character. It Reveals It. Some people's character didn't come out too well today. But more important the character of many shone through,
The AVID BBQ was today and Shelby and Kim went to take JV Softball photos at Laguna Creek in Elk Grove..
They left for a Jamba Break at around 5.
