We are under way!
Kelsey walked in a little after 7 and informed me that Robert's camera wasn't working. Guess what? The batteries were dead. So I quickly tried to find a charger to charge them up and finally got one sort of charged so they could shoot. They took a whole bunch of photos. Still haven't seen if any are any good yet.
Zoe and Shelby have first period prep. Kelsey is in second. Lauren and Kim Descalso are in third. This is really going ot work out well, but we will need to have a meeting to coordinate and plan.
First Day Plan
I talked about the yearbook experience with the and they filled out the contracts again. Then Zoe took over and they talked about interviewing and quotable quotes. They broke into pairs and practiced interviewing each other.
The homework assignment was to get one quotable quote and interview someone about their first day. Then we had food.
It went well, but I did not feel the day was super well prepared. I don't like the feeling that we are getting the handouts together just a minute or two before we need them.
